El pasado miércoles 20 de noviembre tuvo lugar al TecnoCampus el 5.º Encuentro de Empresas de Economía Social, que este año ha dedicado la edición a la compra pública responsable. Sergi Morales, segundo teniente de alcalde y regidor de Ocupación, Empresa y Economía Social del Ayuntamiento de Mataró, remarcó el papel de las empresas de economía social en el tejido económico de la ciudad, la comarca y el país. El regidor explicó las diferentes acciones que desde su concejalía se impulsan en materia de economía social en la ciudad, y recordó que desde el Ayuntamiento se utiliza la herramienta de los contratos reservados, por ejemplo, en casos como la gestión del Café de Mar o la recogida de objetos voluminosos, que llevan a cabo empresas de economía social de la ciudad.
A continuación, se realizó una mesa redonda moderada por el profesor y miembro de la Cátedra de Economía Social Miguel Guillén.
